Very nice job A-net. I gotta give you props for decorating for halloween and taking care of us when you really don't have too since its free online play. WOW makes you pay that monthly fee for little touches like this, and we get it for free!

I'm guessing it's something to do with Rurik, maybe a quest, and the reward will be Witch's Brew, which will probably be like Dwarven Ale.

Love the update anyway, Lion's Arch is my favouite!

Well whatever the secret behind the poem is, I'm sure it will be made obvious to all with an in game announcement or something when the time comes. This Halloween Weekend is a big event for ANet and I doubt they would let a lot of people miss out on the fun because they couldn't solve a riddle.

Did anyone noticed that the backdoor of lion's arch is closed? (the one that is next to the storage) I think they will open that part again with a halloween theme and there will be scaaary monsters and pumpkin headed rurik in there... (remember: the poem says "Heed these words, all ye who dare enter here" -> we need to enter somewhere, meaning a new area and the boss will be an evil pumpkin head.. yaaaay )

"On Halloween night, there will be a mission. Will be at the gate in LA that has a warp, but doesn't do anything. Will be the pumpkin head guy."

Theres also a guy in drokar's who will give the same items for stone summit badges

Conclution: As Each day passes each decotated town will get cooler and cooler and on the day of Halloween we will go though the gate and face the Mad King

There's a Horseman in each of the MAJOR cities(Ascalon. LA, Henge of Denravi, and Dork's). Nothing in Amnoon, guess it's sacred ground and the evil undead can't go to it.

Also added 4 new Necro henchman, the Mad King's Guards. They're Candy-corn Golems LOL.

I was at Lion Arch and Droknor and nothing there. I don't see the horseman in each town.

Wait a minute...we're talking about Kryta here right? The Lich was the Councillor to the King of Kryta wasn't he? So the Mad King might refer to the King of Kryta who literally went down with his ship? Or I could just be rambling nonsensically...

Greetings forumites,

Just wanted to hop in and comment. Love the Mad King's Guards in Lion's. Level 12 necro candy corn elementals . Also, in Lion's, there is a herald necrid horseman saying that the Mad King will be arriving on Hallow's Eve. It was funny in International 1 when he appeared, and most of the people calling for the frog decided to start following him. There must have been a train of around 20-30 people talking about stealing his horse and so on . Loved it. Hope I can catch this Mad King event when it occurs.

Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again
Wyldchild
